Happy 13th month

Happy 13th month birthday! Today you decided to like a binky... We've been trying to get you to like binkeys for a year, and you decide today was the day?! We spent the day with G&G H. And Auntie Blair, playing in your kiddie pool enjoying the great summerish weather! Daddy golfed and then came to get us to go to eldo to tannens to eat dinner. Then we went to ty and drew's house...Daddy's cousins, and enjoyed the summerish night.

One year pictures and last day of sallys!

Today was the last day of school for me, and Sally for you! I cannot believe it's been a whole school year since I left you that dreaded first time! You and I both have learned so much from Sally! I plan to visit weekly so you don't forget Hee I've the summer!

After I picked you up, we headed to Wynn's for your one year photos! They were super cute! Then we went to sinner with Megan, Andy, and Aidan, and played at their house after!

I'm rocking you in your room. The ocean sound is playing on the sound machine as it has every single night for a year! You are on bottle number two... Half whole milk and half water with baby oatmeal. I was sitting here thinking about the words you have picked up lately. Daddy asked how long it would be until you could speak in sentences... I told him it wouldn't be long! So as of now here ate the words you know:

MORE TEETH

Today when I picked you up from Sally's I noticed the two teeth on either side of your top two teeth were poking through your little gums with little dots of blood. Gotto go you just turned the tv off, and you were watching Sesame Street and dancing :)

Today you, daddy, and I went to Joplin to do a little shopping. We ate lunch and roamed around the mall for a fee hours, then left and headed to look at a car dealership. We left town around 5:30, and shortly after we left, literally minutes after, an F4 tornado ripped through the city devastating the middle of the city! We were sooooooooo lucky to have made it out of town b/f the storm hit. We had no idea that the storm would be anything special. We were walking around the car lot like nothing! The news reporters reported that it was an invisible storm... That it hit without warning! Scary!

Happy Mother's Day #2

Your gift to me was a fantastic two hour nap! I loved it! We visited both grandparents, and had lots of fun!

You had lots of firsts this past week:
First Happy Meal with Auntie Blair & G&G H. With whom you also rode a donkey, and rode the lawnmower with grandpa!
You also acquired more words: book, Max, Ollie (with the llie, and not just the AH)
You also had your first time out at sallys... For standing on the table!

FIRST TIME YOU SLEPT ALL NIGHT!

Last night you went to bed...usual evening drive with mommy and daddy around 7 after leaving G&G H.'s house. I put you in your crib and you woke up every hour or so until 11:30pm and then I woke up panicked at 5:00am, looked in the monitor and you weren't there!!! I jumped up and tiptoed into your room... You were turned the opposite way and were laying on Daddy's old Teddy bear with your bottom in the air! You slept until after 6:00am! When you woke up I brought you into bed with daddy, he gave you a bottle and you slipped back to sleep until addy had to wake you up to go to Sallys! Your sleeping now! Hope it's a repeat performance!!!

Moment in history

You are sleeping in your crib... Cole just informed us that Osama Bin Laden was killed today! This is a huge event that you will no doubt learn about in your history classes inthe future! Mommy and daddy are laying here in bed and cole just sent a text reminding me that today wa the 14th aniversary of the death of our dog Gunther, and that Osama Bin Laden had been killed! I can remember asking Grandma and Grandpa H. what they were doing when certain things happened...
