New Years Eve 2013

You woke up around 4:00 and got in bed with Mommy and Daddy. We woke up to a beautiful winter wonderland! You immediately wanted to put on tour boots and head outside! Unfortunately we didn't make it out to play. We struggled to make it to Ft.Scott, KS on time for An oil change and a visit to The Courtland Aveda Day Spa! You and I had a little morning spa experience while daddy had our oil changed. You loved being treated like a princess! You chose your own pink glittery polish and sat perfectly still while the lady massaged, trimmed, filed and polished!
After our spa treatment, daddy picked us up and we enjoyed a lunch at a local dive bar-Sharkeys. You were treated to a princess Barbie at Walmart, and we headed back to Nevada. You took a brief nap, we spent a bit of the afternoon with Gowah and Grandma Pats while daddy snoozed. We shared a delicious New Year's Eve dinner at The Club with Gowah and Pat, and then you were out by about 8:30pm! Maybe next year we can ring in the new year with the sparklers Gowah sent with us :)
2012 has been a great year for you: a new baby cousin, Disney World, the beach... The list goes on and on!

Day After Christmas

You woke up around 7:30 today. Our annual tradition is to head to KC. So of course this year we had to allow for a few minutes of play time prior to getting ready to go. I live to group our gifts together and see what all we got! I only had a few minutes today...but this is what I have so far! We love coffee and we love princesses!!!

Best Merry Christmas Ever!

Today was better than any of us could have imagined! You snuck into the living room when you woke up. I just happened to see you staring at the tree in a sleepy stupor. As you stumbled sleepily towards the baby doll Santa had brought, I scooped you up and we hustled down to get daddy and the cameras. You were mystified and excited! It was priceless!
At Gowah and Pat's we had so much fun! Here are a few pictures... I will add more tomorrow..I can barely keep my eyes open to type!

12 days of Christmas!

Blair has always provided you with 12days of Christmas! Our weekend has been so crazy I haven't been keeping up with all of your gifts!
Tonight you opened stickers, and a lightbulb ornament! You oooed and awwed and gasped when you opened the gifts. It is so much fun and exciting for mommy and daddy, and you too! Thanks Auntie Blair and Unkie Shane---we love it!!!

HAPPY 31 MONTH BIRTHDAY!!!

Today Gowah picked you up from Sally's. You guys played outside in the 60+ degree weather! We got pizza for dinner and you ate pizza and leftover Mexican cheese dip and chips at your table in the kitchen wearing your Cinderella dress and watching bubble Guppies and Umi ZoomieYou are stuck on dress-up dresses! The Thoreson's let you borrow a Cinderella gown last weekend...you will only take it off to go to daycare!

This month I noticed a change in how well you put words together into longer sentences! You have full conversations on the phone. You talked to Cole-Cole for several minutes on the phone tonight.
You sleep in your bed now. You are afraid of the dark, and to fall asleep you prefer to lounge in bed with mommy and daddy and your iPad.
You are lots of fun now! You say funny things like- "you're the best gurrl in tha whole wourrld mommy!"

New car weekend

Mommy and daddy are in KC this weekend shopping for a new car. You are in Nevada. You stayed with grandma Madelyn and Grandpa last night and you are with Gowah and Grandma Pat today.
Who knows what will happen...this is our favorite car so far!

Swim practice and YMCA fun!

Since you were born I've been bringing you to swim team practice. This year we have morning practice so you're sleeping during our MWF practices. Today however, I decided to see how you liked practice as a two year old. You of course loved it! You played and watched, and kicked it the water. About half way through the practice we saw a couple of your friends head into kids Cove, so we decided to give that a shot...you loved it too! I was so proud of you!

The Holidays have arrived!

We are putting up the tree today! Our tradition is to watch The Family Stone and decorate the tree an the house. This is our first Thanksgiving and Christmas in The Golf House!
You opened the first two gifts of Christmas- your 2012 ornament and the family ornament...which you promptly broke :( you hung it on the tree and it fell....breaking off Goofy's head.
