HAPPY 2 1/2 BIRTHDAY

Today is your 2 1/2 birthday! You are coloring your special Halloween decorations while we wait for daddy to get home. You spent your half birthday at Sally's playing with the kids. When I came to get you, you and your pals were telling spooky stories in the playhouse. The story teller would hop up in the window and tell their story. Your story was awesome! It was something along the lines of:

Up upon a time there was a MEEEEEAN WIIIIITCH. The MEEEEEAN WIIIIITCH got those kids (pointed at the kids) and put them in a basket.
I was totally impressed. You are soooooo smart!
After daddy came home we celebrated your birthday and decided to eat Chinese! We tried a new place because Momma Cho's was closed. You loved the ham cubes and fries. There was a fish tank which you loved, and a stray black "killy" topped off your birthday meal. Now we are headed to drive by the haunted house. Too scary to go inside, but exciting to drive by.

2nd Movie: Hotel Transylvania!

After Brave you developed a phobia for theaters...if not for the Wizard of Oz trailer, we would have spent the evening in the vestibule near the Wizard of Oz painting in the picture :) once I heard OZ I grabbed you and we stepped inside the theater...you were hooked. We ran out to get our ticket and you watched the entire movie!

Homemade pizza!

After our Walmart shopping extravaganza (3 hours)...we had a pizza making party!

The Circus! 9/29/12

Auntie Blair and Unkie Shane gave you tickets to the circus for your Birthday! It was a great gift! They tied the tickets to a balloon and put the balloon in a beautifully wrapped box. When you opened the box, the balloon flew up with the tickets attached! Such a cool idea all around! Honestly I'm not sure who was more excited...you or daddy?!

Little Drive

The date on this post is late August...it didn't post when I wrote it.

Since you were teeny tiny, we have turned to little drives to get you to sleep. As you've grown a little older, you're no longer a fan of "little drives". You even cry sometimes when I mention little drives, but when we get into the car you're fine. Earlier in the week, you wanted to chat. You started telling me about Chucky Cheese and how you wanted to go. You said not with Brooke, and not with Helen, Madelyn, or grandpa. You also said that there was a big mouse that would scare Lola and Mochi, and Black Killy. But you did want to go with Gowah. Then you started telling me about the ball game and how you push the ball, "like this", and you demonstrated for me :)
As tired as I am when we take the little drives, it is a special little memory we share.

Tonight we also made cookies, you liked licking the bowl, and gobbled about 3 chocolate chip cookies...which may explain the insomnia :)

Grocery Shopping

We're at Walmart right now. You did an awesome job (after you accidentally dumped your Sonic ice at the front door). So we're ending our two-hour trip in the toy isle. You adore the Dora's Shopping Adventure Cash Register...you were looking at the Dora Talking Backpack and I asked you to do something with the bag...push the button or something and you replied, "I'm too busy".
You've been enamored with the Little Mommy: Princess and the Potty for several trips now...real poo poo appears, and she says bye bye to the pee pee...
I asked you to hold up the tiger and show the camera...you did, but sure didn't smile...car isle she kept pointing at the cars saying, "I need a car mommy".
