Christmas Eve

Bastow's Christmas Eve- Eve was last night, it was as wonderful as ever!

This is the best Christmas yet! We had a wonderful, fun filled evening at Grandma Madelyn's and now everyone is snuggled in bed. It's always so hard for me to sleep on Christmas Eve. I keep sneaking into the living room now that Santa has come and gone... I just can't soak up enough Christmas magic! Can't wait till morning! Grantham's first Christmas has been a dream come true so far!

Garrity's Very Merry UnBirthday! 10/29/14

How in the world are you almost 5?! Time has gone by in the blink of an eye! You are a sweet and precious girl, most of the time 😉

We celebrated at your favorite restaurant: Mamma Choe's! 

You are so very stylish and usually like to pick out what you want to wear, and I of course allow you to do so! 

Costumes mostly...

Sunday you wanted to wear this snazzy Celine CHRISTMAS dress...with white Easter heals...the faux-fur vest tied the look together, quiet nicely!

You love to eat Mac and cheese and Sonic: "what I always get!"grilled cheese, tarot tots, grape slush, ice, and ketchup.

You sleep in your own bed after some DVD time, and a book: Nancy Drew and the Missing  Letter, and/or The Ghost of Windy Hill. You rarely wake during the night! You're still wearing a pull-up, but we've finally phased out the sippy with milk routine.

You love to playboys your Disney castle and figures, and spend lots of time doing so! 

You love to watch Tutorials on the iPad, and love Paw Patrol, Halloween shoes, and The Pioneer Woman on TV.

You wear size 10-11 shoe, and are so tall and skinny that you can still wear some of your 18-24 month sweaters! You generally wear size 4 pants and bigger tops b/c bigger things hang so nicely on your slender frame!

I sure love you!!!!

Happy 8 month Birthday Grantham 11/25/14

This month you've successfully grown one tooth on the bottom row! It's literally taken the entire month to grow this tooth! You had to take your first round of antibiotics, paired with a steroid, to kick a lingering cold and cough you picked up! You've started pulling up on things and you can crawl, army-crawl style, faster than any baby I've ever seen! You've also developed a taste for cheese pizza, and on Gowah's birthday, you loved a soup made with cauliflower!? You can't get enough organic baby Cheetos, baby puffs, and any other little bite of food you can get your hands on! You say lots of sounds, like "dada dadadadada," but at this point the only things you'll "say" on que, are coughing, and screaming. You enjoy swinging in the back yard, and racing in your walker! You are still te happiest baby ever! I can't imagine our life without you, baby boy! 

Grantham: 7 months

Mamma Choe's

For your seventh month, we celebrated in KC, with a trip to the pumpkin patch (see post)!

Seventh month finds you:

- racing like a maniac in your walker! 

- wearing size 4 diapers

-wearing shoes a couple of times...you don't seem to mind!

- J.Crew size 6-12, you've completely outgrown the Zutano romoer Brooke gave you for "Christmas" (good thing she gave it to you early!

- you've started choking on the little puffs, but love the little cheese puffs, and the first cookies! 

-you gummed a French fry from Simones and loved it! You've tried a bite of Mac and cheese and loved it! You ate some Mamma Choe's noodles and rice and loved it!

-you crawl..FAST!

-you have a teeny tooth just under the surface, on the bottom, your right side

- you are as happy as ever, and adorable!

Grantham's Very Merry UnBirthday Party!

We celebrated your very special 6 month birthday with a bash! Both grandparents, both Aunts and your cousins, Auntie Shirley, and NO Uncle Cole...but almost your whole family  was at your party!

We had half of a delicious birthday cake, and everyone showered you with gifts! 

You're such a beautiful little soul, and we adore you! Happy Birthday little man!

You're measuring in the 95% for height and head, and 75% for weight! 

You wear a size 6-12!

You've only worn shoes once...to The White Grill :)

You love to laugh and smile, and scoot in your Walker...FAST! 

Grantham: Crawling 6 months 2 weeks

Last week you started scooting, and then for real crawling at the end of the week. Over the weekend, you really honed in on your skills, and this week, you are officially CRAWLING! The videos below are  roughly one week apart!

Garrity's Spooky Slumber party with Gowah and Grandma Pat

Sunday night you decided to stay the night with Gowah and Grandma Pat, after you started carving your pumpkin and declared that it would take, "much too long," to not stay the night. You and Gowah and Grandma carved a spooky witch pumpkin and then you designed one using a black magic marker or pen.

You played the whole day at their house and constructed a spooky surprise for Mommy and Grantham! THIS is what we were greeted with beautiful sidewalk chalk, and your spooky mummy costume! You immediately wanted to have a photo shoot with Grantham!
