It was a great day :)

4/30 WIZARD OF OZ EXHIBIT 4/30/14

We're at crown center again...the oz exhibit from pre-Bingo is still here! It's surreal to be here WITH Bingo :)

Turns out, it never gets old!

This too is STILLLLLLL awesome!

The traveling exhibit was outdoors...and it was super windy and chilly!!! Plus there was a "HEADTOP" which is a character in costume...and you kept your eyes covered in fear!

However, you did pose for a pic with Dorothy...but shielded your view of the owl HEADTOP :)

4/26 Birthday week continues!!!

Today we started off the morning with cuddling Grantham! After that, toast and jelly...then you were bored. As you zipped around the house on your pink scooter...you proclaimed your boredom :)
We removed your new birthday costume for breakfast...nobody wants a jelly stained pirate costume :/

After breakfast, still wearing your birthday badges, we broke into your little stationary pack from your Wendy's kids meal. Now you're diligently working on greeting cards for your cousins and Cole :)

This is a self portrait!

After a bath in the sink for fun :/

Now you're painting! Never a dull moment :)

Birthday fun was organized with this handsome calendar we made!

Early childhood screening 4-10-14

Today you participated in the early childhood screening at First Baptist Church! To did a wonderful job!

The teacher said you kept telling them you were sooooooo tired! That Grantham kept you up all night :)

After we left, you told me you were retired. You had gone to school and you were now retired...like Grandma Pat.

FIRST TRIP TO SDC 4/25/14

When you saw the sign to Silver Dollar City...you were PUMPED! We had a lot to celebrate! Your BIRTHDAY WEEK, and Baby Grantham's one month BIRTHDAY ;)

So excited to visit SDC for the first time this year!!! First trip as a big sister!
The ball "pit" is still super fun :)
You said that grandma Pat screamed when you would move the butterfly up and down!

You are interested in Little house on the Prairie (one of my faves) so this school house was an awesome experience!!!
You loved the school house!

The teacher was awesome! She made you a special hat for your birthday!

Each year has brought such different SDC experiences! Same with Disney World...it too ever changing with your age!

Grantham learned the ropes!

After SDC, we went to The Disney Store and you got to pick out a gift for your birthday! You chose a pirate costume!

You are the cutest GIRL pirate I've ever seen!!! What a great way to kick off your birthday week celebration!!!

Baby Grantham 3/25/14

You are a big sister! You are quite possibly the best big sister in the world! Monday 3/24 mommy went to school just like normal and then decided to go visit Dr. Russell, and she suggested I go home and go for a  walk because She too thought Bingo may be ready to come out of my tummy. You were at Sally's, so no big deal. While you were at Sally's I walked with Gowah around the golf course. Later when you got home, it snowed!?
(This is what mommy looked like that day!)
Other than the snow...the night was just a normal night! We played and laughed and read bed time stories...just like always! We have moved from story books to chapter books...The book we were reading the night before Bingo came out of my tummy was The BFG, by Roald Dahl. You and daddy played in your playhouse and I pretended to be the BFG :)

The next morning, we slept in a bit and I took you to Sally's. You were ok to go because you knew you would get to have lots of stay home days after Bingo arrives!
Mommy and Daddy both stayed home that day. Daddy went to get a hair cut and I went I Walmart after I dropped you off. I shopped for essentials that I knew we would want or need after Grantham came. But while I was there I noticed that the walking might be helping to coax Grantham out of my tummy :)
When I got home... My water broke and it was time to go to the hospital! We got to the hospital at about 1pm, and Grantham was born at 5:16! Grandma Pat picked you up from Sally's and YOU were the first person to meet BABY GRANTHAM!
You are the bat BIG SISTER!!!!
Love at first sight!
Happy family!

Mommy stayed one night in the hospital with Grantham and you stayed at home with daddy for the first time, just the two of you. The next day you went to Sally's and then came up to escort Grantham home for the first time!
Super handy helper!
Perfect match!
