Happy 9th month birthday baby girl! Mommy has been at a swim meet all day long! I'm typing this in the dark on my phone, wishing I was with you right now! I'm not sure what you and daddy did today, but i hope it was fun. One of my students just sent me a text saying they saw you at the basketball game. I'm glad, because that means I won't have to wait any longer than necessary to get you once we get back to the high school.

You were really sick last week. Daddy stayed home with you on Monday and took you to the doctor. You had a double ear infection! You didn't sleep at all on Monday night... You just moaned and cried on my chest... It was so awful! Tuesday night we gave you ibuprofen an you slept like a rock! After a good nights sleep you felt better! Now you are going like crazy!!!

Last night you kept biting me when I was trying to nurse you to sleep. One time you bit me so hard a gave you a hard tap on the arm and said NO NO really loud. You cried and cried... And then did it again!!! So I did the same thing! you cried like I had true to kill you?! So of course I loved you and told you you could do whatever you wanted :) and I've felt horrible about Hutton you feelings all day!

Baby's first steps! 1/11/11

Yesterday and today have been snow days! No school for mommy, and you and I hav gotten to hang out all day together! Today we were playing and you took a shakey little step. Then tonight you were playing with mommy and daddy in the living room. You took another step... Much more obviously a step. Then daddy went to play basketball at 7pm. We went to play at G&G H's. While we were there Grandpa, grandma, you and I were all playing in their living room. We were all playing with the big blue ball on the floor when you turned from grandpa and took three steps towards me! We all clapped and cheered for you! We got you to take a couple more singletons! When you and I got home a little before 9pm, we were playing on he floor and you had a toy in your hand and took two very awesome steps towards me ! Mommy and daddy both cheered for you! You are pretty awesome to be walking at 8 1/2 months!!!

HAPpY NEW YEaR!!!

Yesterday daddy had to work, so you and I planned a breakfast play date with G&G H. While you dined and played, I got ready for Daddy's cousin Tate's wedding in Springfield. When daddy got home we left and ate our last lunch of 2010 at The Bamboo Garden in Carthage. Once in Springfield, we hung out at cousin Tedi's until the wedding at 6.30. The wedding doubled as a New Yeat's Eve celebration! It was fun! It was your first ever New Year's Eve, and you rang in your first new year in style... Even of you were asleep by about nine!

Today we spentthe morning driving back home and then relaxed the day away playing, and aunt Brooke came over for a movie. After that you and I went to The Buck's to visit with one of mommy's oldest friend, Kristi Buck. You loved playing with her baby girl Maci! Going to the Buck's on New Year's Day has been a tradition of mommy's family for years... It was so special to share that with you, and for you to enjoy it so much was even better!

You were, without a doubt, the best part of 2010! Happy New Year Baby Garrity!
