22nd MONTH AND HAPPY 23rd BIRTHDAY!!!

This month was one of the fastest! I cannot believe you will be two in a month! This month you really tested the waters with mini-tantrums and had your first time outs at home. You really started speaking in phrases and some crazy-big sentences for someone your age!

"lookey at the bird up there in the tree!"
"I'll do it"
"manuts" or bananas became a favorite for you. We're getting closer to losing the bottle...except on weekends mostly, you don't request one unroll bed time. You are sleeping alone for several hours and a couple of times all night alone in the guest bed in the guest room (not your perfect Pottery Barn Kids crib). You've started eating more at home...you've always been an empty pit at Sally's, but not at home until this month!.
Tonight we spent the evening hopefully breaking a world record! 300+ Nevada citizens gathered at Head Start in Nevada and sang the alphabet in a round. It was fun at first and then you got really cranky and hungry. By the time we were finished you were in tears so we headed to Sonic for a wacky pack birthday meal and went to the park do you could slide a bit! When we left you didn't cry or fuss... You were so brave and grown up...we raced to the car and you never even whimpered!

Springtime Fun

We've had a busy day today! You played outside at Sally's today. The weather was a perfectly beautiful 80+ degrees and sunny! After daddy got home we ran to G&G Bishops for dinner, and then played outside some more. When we got home we played outside in our front yard for a while and the Ice cream Man drove by! You waves and kept saying, "ice CREAM MAAAAN!" it was really cute.... But too late for a treat.
You broke your first toy...your Wizard of oz snow globe from Gowah and Pat. You threw it up in the shower, it hit you on the head and cracked when it hit the shower floor. It was really sad because you key shaking it and of course nothing was happening...
After bath you had a little pre-bed snack on the tray from Gowah...an then you used the blocks and the stacking pole to create a block tower! I was beyond amazed to see you stack 4 blocks on top of the wooden pole and then knock it down of course before daddy could see it. I have attached a picture...you are not even 23 months old yet....that takes skill!!!

Look at me

We were rocking, looking at pictures on my phone just now, and you said, " lookey at meee!" you have really started speaking in phrase and sentences this month! You are so smart! These are just a few phrases you've rattled off in the last couple of minutes:

What happened right there?
Tonight we went to the movie store to rent a movie I've been so excited to see ( silly on my part since I've only watched 2-3 movies since you were born), you kept saying, " yay movie store!" Once we got inside the store you raced to a spot on the floor and announced, " blue triangle mommy...Garrity standy on the blue triangle!"
