HAPPY 39 month Birthday

Today you are 3 years and 3 months old! Mistakingly I shared this information with you and now you believe it's your birthday!!! However, it's summer and we're here at home and everyone else is at work :( you're ready to party! Toooooo bad we're in Nevada and not KC. It would be easy to create a very happy unbirthday in KC...not south here :(

We're waiting around on the plumber watching Christmas movies :(

We spent the majority of the afternoon and evening at Gowah and Grandma Pat's.  After dinner we celebrated with ice cream decorated with candles! We sand Happy Birthday and you blew out the candles a few times!

I haven't done a great job keeping up these past couple of months...but since you turned 3, here's what's changed:

Right after turning 3 you were beyond defiant!

You no longer ride quietly in your buggy when we go places.

You remember everything! We went to McDonald's on Johnson drive the other day and got a Red-box movie. There was a man fixing one of the toilets in the women's restroom. The next day we returned and made a visit to the restroom and you exclaimed, "it's not broken anymore!"

Saturday mornings at the KC house

This morning I ran and you slept until 9:00! Now we're ups for a little morning stroll with Maggie and then off to find breakfast!

Rainy day

We didn't do much today. We watched The Brady Bunch and played most of the day. Around 3 we ran some errands you ate at McDonalds (chicken nuggets) and then Back home for the evening after a quick visit with Tom L.  

After dinner we put up your princess tent all piled in! We played and laughed until you got mean (obvious sign of tiredness) and then you and daddy cuddled while watching your movie rental "Room in the Broom" during which you fell asleep.

Park Time

One of my most favorite things about the KC house is the access to EVERYTHING!  A morning jog leads to a park in any direction! 

This is Triangle Park in Brookside! Super fun!

52nd & Grand Park

This little park is fun but not as luxurious with wood chips vs the new cushy manmade covering  as Triangle.
