This morning we woke up to another beautiful Colorado morning. The Colorado air is so crisp and clean! you've been able to cruise down the mountain with daddy but today daddy, Tate, Tedi, and Jordan headed to Winter Park to ski. Tannen, Tavi, Tag, and Ashley stayed here with us. So we took our time getting ready in the condo and ate an early lunch before heading out. My intent was to keep you on a schedule of sorts and keep your little tummy full, which in turn made for a happy baby :)
We all got ready to ski and headed out. Now let me preface this story with a little background on my skiing history and ability or lack thereof...this day literally marked my 4th day on the slopes...EVER! That being said, I was a super fast learner and was able to ski black runs on my second day when I went on my first ski trip. By ski I mean I don't mean olympic gold skiing, I mean, I could make it down a black run. Now, to assume that I was a skilled enough skier to take on the task of hauling my hiney down the mountain WITHOUT poles; but with a 2 year old on skis was beyond presumptuous.
without to the bunny slope. You were only slightly fond of sling until today. We rode the ski lift, and you loved it! We used a toddler ski harness and skied down the slope dozens of times! We ended the day with a ride up to the top of a BIG mountain and skied a Green run! You were a natural!
The harness was one of the best tools for teaching EVER! I really wouldn't try skiing with a toddler without the harness. There are several
