Shopping with Grandma H.

Today was Saturday. We woke up and played on a little play-yard we borrowed from Kayla and Halle. For the first time last night at their house you reached up to touch the little zebra hanging down from the play-yard. It was so cool to see you thinking and processing and actually going for it! This morning you were able to hold onto a rattle...really for the first time... and you would bang it against the hanging zebra. Such a milestone in your development! After that, you went swimming in the backyard with your daddy...you looooove to swim!

After a fun filled morning and a bath, you and I went shopping at our favorite boutique in Joplin...Lil' Rascals.

It is super cute and your grandma and I looooove to look and look and of course buy fantastic outfits just for you. We all had a great time...you loved looking around at the bright colors and your grandma and I were totally impressed with your fondness of shopping! We made a quick stop at Babys-R-Us and picked up yet another pacifier...hoping this may finally be "the one" you are not a huge fan at this point. You will chew on one pink soothie brand pacifier and once in a while you will actually suck, but you don't love them like I kind of wish you did...you prefer to use me as a pacifier, which is tricky in social settings :)

When we got home we went to the Gurley's and hung out with all of your daddy's cousins. You were content to be passed around, you are finally social and smile etc. it is sooooo much more fun than when you were hungry the first few weeks and screamed when you were with anyone other than me! Everyone was so eager to cuddle you and you wouldn't have a thing to do with anyone :)
