Prayer

Tonight was an eventful evening/day for you. You woke up from a nightmare this morning. The nightmare was apparently about daddy pushing the button on your iPad and not sharing ( this was your first REAL nightmare...). After the nightmare you wanted to go to Gowah's...luckily he was off today. On our way to Gowah's mommy ran out if gas :) Lucky us Gowah had some gas for us ( Gowah has always had to save me with gas over the years). Gas troubles out of the way, the two of you had a fun day around town. You accompanied Gowah to the hair salon and then the two of you decided to take a trip to the local Sutherland's and check out the selection of bunnies and chicks. I'm pretty certain you were pretty darn close to taking one home from what I understand. Gowah thought it might be tough to keep Ollie and black Killy away. After your outing you napped and played. When we got home we had your faves for dinner sushi rice and tons of fruits and veggies. After our late dinner, you requested to lay down in,"daddy's bed" and watched your current favorite movie: Aladdin. I thought you were close to falling asleep, but when I peeked in you were gone! I turned towards the toilet and it was empty too! I noticed a wiggling set of legs behind the white towel hanging on the rack and there you were...just about the time my mind registered the diaper by the toilet next to the piles of POOP! You were WIPING YOUR BOTTOM on the wire towel!!! All I could do was sing your praises for being such a big girl trying to take care of your dirty pull-up! (I did question why you didn't ask me for help...but I was ignored.) Obviously a bath was the only option...and once you got in the bath you promptly began cleaning your bottom and looking so proud :)
After the bathroom debacle, I put you in your bed and we talked about prayers and Jesus. I said my prayer while you scrunched your eyes shut with your hands together. After my prayer I asked if you wanted to say your own prayer tonight. You said you wanted to. Your sweet little prayer was, " Dear Jesus, thank you for my family. And the kitten. Amen." Odd the random stray yellow kitty made your first prayer!? :)
