Grantham's Very Merry UnBirthday Party!

We celebrated your very special 6 month birthday with a bash! Both grandparents, both Aunts and your cousins, Auntie Shirley, and NO Uncle Cole...but almost your whole family  was at your party!

We had half of a delicious birthday cake, and everyone showered you with gifts! 

You're such a beautiful little soul, and we adore you! Happy Birthday little man!

Grantham: Crawling 6 months 2 weeks

Last week you started scooting, and then for real crawling at the end of the week. Over the weekend, you really honed in on your skills, and this week, you are officially CRAWLING! The videos below are  roughly one week apart!

Garrity's Spooky Slumber party with Gowah and Grandma Pat

Sunday night you decided to stay the night with Gowah and Grandma Pat, after you started carving your pumpkin and declared that it would take, "much too long," to not stay the night. You and Gowah and Grandma carved a spooky witch pumpkin and then you designed one using a black magic marker or pen.

You played the whole day at their house and constructed a spooky surprise for Mommy and Grantham! THIS is what we were greeted with beautiful sidewalk chalk, and your spooky mummy costume! You immediately wanted to have a photo shoot with Grantham!

Grantham: Eating solids...on his own! 6 months 3 weeks!

Last week we started giving you teeny nibbles of Gerber Graduates, blueberry bites! You would gum the little speck and much like a baby bird, turn your open mouth to the sky in hopes of more food being deposited! Well, Sunday night we placed several little WHOLE bites in front of you and you managed to maybe get a couple into your mouth; by guiding one hand with the other!

In addition to being unbelievably adorable...I think you are incredibly advanced in all skills EATING...because, as of Monday night you were able to pick up the bites and skillfully place them in your own mouth! So that means that from last Wednesday (video above) to this Monday...you "mastered" the concept of eating and feeding yourself!!! 

You are quite proud of yourself...of course!

Grantham's First Sickness! + Big Kid Snacks!

You've been hacking and wheezing for a week. Wednesday, we went see Dr. Russell and she diagnosed you with a viral bronchial infection :( So you have to have breathing treatments until the cough and rattling breaks up! Poor guy!

On a happy note, we've been giving you teeny tiny little bites of Gerber Graduates...you've finally gotten the swing of gumming them, and last night you really started enjoying them!

Gratham: 15 weeks + Trip to the KC Zoo + REACHING FOR THINGS

You have been grasping and reaching for things! You are also aware of things you want to get in your hands and mouth!

You prefer to chew on cloth things vs hard or chewy! 

Did I mention you're the cutest little boy on the planet?!

FIRST TRIP TO THE ZOO!!!

First trip to the zoo...and maidan voyage in the double buggy!!! Baby Jogger City Classic Double= perfect for a 4 yr old + 3 month old combo ;)
